Spelthorne Volleyball Club was founded in 1995, and is based near Staines in Surrey.
In 2010/2011 the Ladies team won the ladies division of the Surrey league and were runners up in the South-East regional Cup competition. This team has now progressed to National League, and a new-look developmental ladies team now plays in Surrey league this season.
The Mens division 1 team won the league, and finished 3rd in the South- East regional Cup competition.
The Mens division 2 team finished 5th in their division.
